Taipei Family Trail

Taipei is a city tailormade for family visits, and our first day begins with a trip to see the pandas at Muzha Zoo, followed by a ride in the world's fastest elevator to the top of the world's second highest building, the Taipei 101. After lunch we'll take a trip to Chiang Kaishek Memorial where we'll watch the changing of the guard to the backdrop of this beautiful marble monument. In the evening we'll enjoy dinner at a local puppet theater, and have the chance to try our hand at Taiwanese puppetry. On the second day we'll drive out of the city to Yangmingshan National Park. Here, within a stone's throw of downtown Taipei, volcanic fumeroles belch out yellow sulphurous gases amidst a seemingly lunar landscape. From Yangmingshan we'll head north towards the ocean, stopping at Yeliou where we'll have lunch before exploring the otherworldly eroded rock formations which line the coast. From Yeliou it's not too far back to Taipei and our hotel. The evening is free, and the tour ends after breakfast on day 3.
